HABITS TO UPGRADE YOUR LIFE & TAKE IT TO THE NEXT LEVEL
Don’t we all want to live our BEST lives? Feeling healthy, happy, abundant, joyful and reaching our goals and dreams? 😍✨ If you’re following along here, you probably do!
Good thing is, you hold a lot of power in your own hands. You have the power to start creating real changes in your life, by upgrading your habits & take your life to the next level.
In this post I want to share ‘habits’ that can help you take your life to the next level. This is, of course, not going to happen from one day to the next, but if you start implementing some of these and stay consistent (consistency is key!), I will almost guarantee you that you will experience significant changes in your life 🙌🏼
So, let’s just get into it, right?
SURROUND YOURSELF WITH UPLIFTING & INSPIRING PEOPLE
“You become the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with” is a very common quote within the self-development world. And there is a good reason for it, you tend to pick up on the same habits/behaviours/thoughts etc. as those you spend a lot of time around. Surround yourself with people that make you feel loved, supported, that uplift, inspire and motivate you to be the best version of yourself.
KEEP LEARNING & GROWING
Read inspiring, motivating, selfdevelopment books, listen to uplifting and educational podcasts, participate in workshops/Masterclasses that inspire and motivate you, find a mentor that has the life you want, join a Mastermind group or a group coaching program. Keep feeding your mind with inspiration & motivation!
CLEAN YOUR SPACE
Having a beautiful, clean, clutter-free space, that makes you feel calm and inspired, can truly have an impact on you, your well-being and on how inspired and motivated you feel in life. I always find myself feeling less inspired/motivated whenever things are cluttering up in my home space. Whereas as soon as I give it a good declutter, clean and organize, inspiration comes back quickly after.
INVEST IN THINGS THAT MAKES YOU FEEL GOOD
Look at what you invest in; does it make you feel good? Do you invest in things that lifts your vibration, in clothes that makes you feel like your best self? In books that inspire you?
MOVE YOUR BODY
Moving our bodies are key for keeping circulation, and moving energies. Not only is it really healthy for your physical & mental health and well-being, it also creates flow inside of you. Movement is a way to process stagnant feelings and emotions - to let go of anger, frustration, fear etc. And it’s a wonderful way to create more inner peace and harmony. Whenever you feel uninspired, try just putting on some good music and dance around for a bit, or go for a nature walk - and watch how quickly your mood starts to change.
GET FRESH AIR
Just in line with the above habit, getting outside and perhaps going for a nature walk, or just sitting outside, grounding and connecting with nature and getting some fresh air can do wonders for you health and well-being - and your spiritual growth.
CREATE
We do live in a consumer-society with social media (Instagram, TikTok, youtube etc.), there is soooo much content to consume all the time. If you ever feel lack of inspiration, it might be because you’ve been too consumed in the ‘consuming’ process. Time to tap more into your own creative power - whether that is creating your own content for social media, painting, writing, dancing or whatever it might be. Immerse yourself in the creative process.
FUEL YOUR BODY WITH DELICIOUS FOOD
We cannot thrive and expect to feel inspired and motivated if our bodies aren’t feeling healthy. One key ingredient to live your best life, is to make sure you are healthy - and nourishing yourself and your body with delicious, healthy, whole foods is probably one of the best ways to do so.
This post isn’t saying that you “need to start doing all of these things in order to live your best life”. I rather want you to see it as a source of inspiration. Perhaps as you’re reading through this, you recgonize that you have neglected your health and haven’t been eating whole foods and moved your body? Or perhaps you recognize that it has been way too long since you immersed yourself into the creative work that you really love to do?
Start with 1 area, go and implement that into your life - and watch how your life start to change 😍✨
